Joanna embarked on her graduate studies at the University of Ottawa, first completing her Bachelor of Science specializing in Physiology, and then moving on to graduate from the Masters of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy program in 2015. Her education and subsequent work experience have allowed Joanna to work from Vancouver to Thunder Bay with a wide variety of patients, and gain experience with a multitude of injuries, from musculoskeletal problems to neurological conditions. Having always studied in French, Joanna is also happy to provide treatments in both official languages.
Joanna experienced the benefits of physiotherapy and the importance of participating actively in your recovery for herself when she injured her hand playing football during her studies. As such, she greatly encourages her patients to be involved in their health journey by emphasizing open communication, education and rehabilitative exercises. This empowers patients on their road to recovery. Joanna supports her approach with hands-on care that includes manual therapy, acupuncture, functional dry needling and vestibular rehab. Moreover, to further her knowledge, she has taken continuing education courses in the McKenzie Method of treatment, chronic pain management, as well as concussion management.

Devin has been working in movement arts and body/mind studies since 1995 when he dove into meditation and Asian martial arts as a complement to his schoolwork in Theatre. In 2012 he became a yoga teacher, with special certification in Yin yoga through the Nosara Institute.
Devin has been a passionate practitioner of traditional Thai Massage since 2002 when he studied with Kam Thye Chow, head teacher of the Lotus Palm School in Montreal and author of the bestselling book “Thai Yoga Massage”. Two years of intensive learning later, he apprenticed to become a teacher himself and later opened the Ottawa School of Thai Massage. Thai Massage combines specific pressure, targeted stretching and passive mobility to reduce tension and patterns of physical limitation.
In 2014 Devin graduated with honors from the Massage Therapy intensive program at Algonquin College. During his time as a student, he suffered a serious knee injury and lingering back problems. He resolved to rehabilitate these injuries using exercise and his knowledge of anatomy and physiology. With studies in Katy Bowman’s restorative exercise, Erwan LeCorre’s MovNat system, Pavel Tsatsouline’s kettlebell conditioning and a lot of awareness and patience, he recovered from his injuries and now runs (barefoot), bikes, swims, hikes, climbs trees and enjoys moving outdoors year round.
As a yoga teacher, movement coach and manual therapist, Devin believes in fostering our body’s innate genetic capacity for movement and healing using hands-on mobilization, moderate exercise and body awareness.
